The City of Lights Ukulele Festival is located at the Water Street Mall in Downtown Aurora, just 40 miles west of Chicago.

Getting to the Festival

From Chicago/Milwaukee/Indiana:

Take I-88 westbound to Exit 119B N Farnsworth Ave. Turn left on Corporate Blvd and Church Rd, then right onto E Indian Trail. Turn left onto Mitchell Rd and Aurora Ave, then continue south on N Broadway.

From Madison/Iowa:

Take I-88 eastbound to Exit 117 IL-56 E/IL-31 S. Turn right onto IL-31 S.

From St. Louis:

Take I-55 northbound to Exit 251 IL-59. Turn left onto W Seil Rd, right onto S County Line Rd, and left at the first intersection onto US-52 W. Turn right onto N Ridge Rd and left onto Plainfield Rd. Then, turn right onto S Madison St and left onto IL-25 N/N Madison St.

Metra to Aurora Transportation Center

Board from any of these stations on the BNSF line. Head south down N Broadway, turn right on E Galena Blvd and left on Water St.

What are the hours of the festival?

10 am to 8 pm on August 22nd.

11 am to 6 pm August 23rd.

Can I bring water to the City of Lights Ukulele Festival?

Yes! We highly encourage you to do so in order to stay hydrated and safe.


Is alcohol allowed at the City of Lights Ukulele Festival?

Alcohol purchased or obtained outside of the festival is strictly prohibited. 


Are coolers allowed?

Please do not bring large coolers to the festival.

Can we bring our own chairs?

Yes! Seating will not be provided at the festival.

Are animals allowed inside the festival?

Only service animals are permitted inside the festival.

Will there be dining options at the festival?

Yes! We will have multiple food vendors on-site, and there are various restaurants and eateries just a short walk away.
